What Is Venom Network
In April 2023, Venom Network, a newly developed layer-0 blockchain, completed its testnet launch. Although still relatively unknown within this arena of layer-0 cryptocurrency exchanges and faced with established giants as competition, Venom Network shows excellent promise as an emerging layer-0 network.
Since 2017, this project, created by the Venom Foundation and sponsored by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), aims to give users a glimpse into its interface and blockchain capabilities through the Venom Testnet.
Testnet allows novice cryptocurrency enthusiasts to experience trading, swapping, purchasing NFTs, and making Long/Short decisions without using real money.
Essential to keep in mind is that testnet tokens and NFTs do not represent real value and should only be used for testing purposes.

All it takes to claim them is creating a Venom wallet and completing tasks to earn your first 50 Venom Tokens!
- Download the Venom wallet app/extension
- Complete tasks,
- Successfully finish them off!
Claim 50 Venom tokens by following certain accounts on Twitter’s official X platform. There is no need for real-life following either; click on each task, wait a few seconds, and click on “check” when done to complete them!
As of September 2023, 50 Venom tokens provided are sufficient to complete all tasks in the campaign, but having additional ones wouldn’t hurt either! You could also perform extra functions on the Venom Faucet to earn even more Venom Tokens.
Venom Testnet Campaign Earns 50 VENOM Vessels
Tasks
In this article, we’ll show you how to execute a campaign based on writer experience using the Venom wallet extension.
Since our campaign aims to mint NFTs, this step will not count among our tasks.
1. Venom
This task includes two steps:
- Join Venom Foundation on Telegram.
- Subscribe to their YouTube channel.
Once completed, click Mint NFT; you don’t have to follow all accounts, but doing so could keep you up-to-date on the latest developments in the cryptocurrency world.
Press “Mint” and wait a few seconds to complete the minting process – congratulations, you just received your 1st Venom NFT!
2. Venom Wallet
This segment serves one task.
- Send token.
- To send the token,
- Right-click the Venom wallet extension icon and choose ‘Send.
- Then, paste their address into the task area.
Send out the appropriate number of Venom tokens by entering your wallet passwords, paying the fee, and waiting for the transaction to complete. Any number of Venom Tokens should then be sent directly to a wallet address provided in the task to create your second NFT.
3. Web3.World (Venom Swap)
Web3.World is an innovative DEX on Venom that facilitates seamless trading by pooling liquidity from investors. You have two tasks on this DEX:
- Create an account, and
- Execute trading orders.
Join Web3. In the world-Telegram channel, click the button, complete task 1, and exchange tokens!
As for the second step, you should visit web3.world to swap tokens for this task. You can exchange for any cryptocurrency on their list; we suggest having at least 5-6 NUMI tokens and 3 USDT (for later).
Once your swapping is completed, return to the task page and mint your 3rd NFT.
4. Venom Bridge
For completion, three tasks need to be accomplished:
- Join the Venom Bridge Telegram channel.
- Transfer tokens between Venom and EVM chains using the Venom Bridge website.
- Connect both wallets.
- Insert the desired number of Venom tokens to be bridged. Proceed through each step until completion
- Returning to the task page
- Clicking “check” before moving tokens from EVM chains into Venom chains – similar to the previous task but in reverse!
- Bridge the Venom test net token you just transferred into an EVM wallet to its Venom address.
- Hit the “Check” button to complete.
For bridging to finish, BNB in your EVM wallet must be available as the fee to bridge. Don’t be alarmed, though, as this fee is minimal and should only require BNB from your EVM wallet. Sometimes, task 3 may take time; wait to fret, as other tasks will likely be available before returning here later!
Now is the time to celebrate your fourth NFT!
5. Venom Stake
This segment only requires one task for you to become acquainted with how staking works within the Venom Network:
- Stake Venom
- On VenomStake.
- For this task, connect to your Venom Wallet
- Enter an amount to stake, pay any applicable fees
- Wait until the transaction is complete.
When finished with this task, return to the task page to mint your 5th NFT!
6. Oasis. Gallery
This segment comprises two tasks.
- Buy or List an NFT.
- When looking to acquire or list NFTs for sale
- Go to Oasis Gallery
- Connect your Venom wallet. Browse for NFTs you like before buying them.
- Listing one for sale.
- After purchasing an NFT from the Oasis Gallery
- Return to “My NFTs.” Select any that you want to sell before listing it on the market.
Returning to your task page to “check” each task item; once complete, you may mint your sixth NFT!
7. VenomPad
Achieve two tasks with this component.
- Follow VenomPad
- Tweet About VenomPad
These tasks should be simple to complete as all it requires is clicking and waiting for them to finish before earning your seventh NFT token!
8. Snipa Finance
There are two tasks related to Snipa Finance:
- Tweet about it.
- Check your portfolio on it.
- Visit the link provided in the task.
- Connect your Venom Wallet.
Once connected, you must click the “Join Venom Testnet” button and complete this step before returning back to the task page to mint 8th NFT tokens.
9. Numi
This segment includes three tasks you must complete successfully to pass. Two are straightforward while meeting the third requires several more steps.
- Watch the Numi gameplay video.
- Tweet about Numi.
- Purchase an NFT
Log onto club.numi.net using Venom Wallet and swap the Numi Tokens you obtained during Task #3 to purchase an NFT, using Numi Tokens from Task #3 as payment. After purchasing one NFT, you can mint another NFT (up to 9th in total).
10. Ylide
This part entails two tasks.
Tweet about Ylide and post an on-chain message about it. Visit Ylide, connect your Venom Wallet, post anything (just be nice about it!), and post anything that pops into your head – that will count towards your 10th NFT.
11. Gravix
Requires you to complete two tasks.
Follow Gravix
Establish a Long/Short position. Head to the Gravix exchange site. Connect your Venom wallet.
Utilizing the USDT you previously exchanged, make a LONG/SHORT decision with it. Whether or not your prediction is correct is irrelevant; instead, it provides an invaluable learning opportunity on crypto exchange platforms to learn how to place long/short positions effectively.
Once the tasks have been accomplished, you can obtain your 11th NFT.
12. Qamon
To complete this step, two tasks need to be accomplished:
- Follow Qamon
- Send On-Chain Mail.
- To the Qamon mail platform.
- Connect your Venom Wallet address.
- Establish an Email Account using any valid Venom wallet address, including one you own – although for convenience purposes, email yourself as the easiest method is often best.
Having completed these steps, you are ready to mint your 12th NFT.
13. Venom Burn
This task contains two tasks.
- You should either follow Venom Burn
- Burn Your VENOM
- Visit the Venom Burn website
- Connect your wallet
- Click Burn Your Venom Buton
- Enter a desired token amount before clicking Burn Now Button to burn tokens.
That will fulfill the 13th NFT.
14. OneArt
Your mission is two-fold. One task should be relatively straightforward while the second more complex; nevertheless, we will help make both easy.
- Follow OneArt
- Mint Welcome NFT.
- Click the link in your task
- Download the OneArt app to your phone.
- Once connected to your wallet with 12 seed phrases, use the OneArt app on your phone to mint a welcome NFT in the OneArt app
- Go back to the task page to “check” progress
Now is an opportunity to mint the 14th NFT!
15. Valicit
- Follow Valicit
- Purchase Tickets.
- Ticket information can be found at valicit.com
- After collecting your Venom Wallet
- Purchase a ticket, head back to the task page, and hit “check.”
Upon completing both tasks successfully & you can mint the 15th NFT!
16. Segmint
- Follow the Segmint.
- Mint Segmint,
- Head directly to Segmint
- Connect your Venom wallet.
- Choose a space you wish to purchase; its price will depend on how many “segments” are selected.
- Wait for the page to process and give you its price before selecting “Mint segment.”
- Once complete, return to the task page to complete the task.
Now is the time to collect your 16th NFT!
17. EverPlay
You must complete two tasks to advance in this game:
- Follow EverPlay
- Purchase Venom Pass
- By going to the EverPlay website,
- Connecting Venom Wallet
- Clicking “Buy Venom Pass,” and following through with the transaction.
- Back on the task page, “check” your task.
Congratulations! Now, you can take a mint for the 17th NFT and complete the Venom Testnet Campaign! There will undoubtedly be additional tasks; therefore, we will update this guide quickly with new functions as they emerge.
18. Chainspot
Chainspot with Two Tasks to Explore :
- Follow Chainspot on X (Twitter).
- To transfer CST tokens from the BSC chain to Venom Testnet,
- Go to app.chainspot.io
- Connect your MetaMask wallet, making sure that the BSC chain is active before joining your Venom wallets – don’t forget the swap option when doing this step – claim 10 CST tokens by swapping between BSC chain and Venom Testnet
- Go back to task page and “check.”
Note: Please ensure you have some Bitcoin Noon (BNB) in your MetaMask wallet to pay the fee associated with swapping.
Unify both tasks to collect your 18th NFT.
19. Ventory
Two tasks for Ventory need to be accomplished:
- Follow Ventory.
- Please take part in Ventory’s NFT launchpad by going to their website, connecting your Venom wallet, scrolling down, and clicking on the mint NFT button
- Pay the fee and wait for your transaction to complete before returning to the task page and clicking “check.”
When both tasks have been accomplished, your 19th NFT can be unlocked!
20. VenomArt
The main objective of this task is to use VenomArt as an NFT marketplace and mint an NFT.
There are two tasks you must accomplish:
- Follow VenomArt
- To Create NFT
- Link Your Venom Wallet
- Pick An Image When Customizing The Information For NFT
- Hit the Mint Button
- Pay the fee and wait for the minting process to finish before returning to the Venom task page and checking your progress. When it is complete,
Mint your 20th NFT.
21. Clustex
Clustex is an innovative DEX that leverages modern mathematical principles and smart contract architecture specifically tailored for Venom.
As it remains to be seen whether Clustex will bring more content, to be safe, consider swapping out 10 or more Venom tokens now – with multiple ways of earning additional Venom tokens, this should not prove difficult.
Start with two tasks:
- Follow Clustex
- Swap Tokens
- Navigate to Clustex Swap.
- Using Venom as the token type for swapping
- Swap 10 or more Venom for 2POOL token.
- After the swapping, go back to your task page to view your work!
Mint 21st NFT when complete!
22. Rooster Fights
This engaging mobile game lets you nurture and battle roosters to obtain unique NFTs, compete in winner-takes-all duels, and perhaps take a shot at taking back your opponent’s prized bird!
To complete your introduction to Rooster Fights, there are four essential tasks.
- Follow Rooster Fights on X (Twitter): For ease, this step is straightforward; follow them on their official Twitter account.
- Install the Rooster Fights App:
- Follow this link to install and access it directly.
- Click the Install button and let the app install onto your device.
- While not mandatory, allowing for its completion before moving forward with other tasks is highly recommended. Once finished with this task, you may remove the app if desired.
- Purchase Above 750 RSTR Tokens:
- When purchasing RSTR tokens, be sure to acquire more than 750 tokens. Due to price fluctuations of Venom tokens during transactions, aim slightly above this number, such as 751 tokens, to reduce the risk of insufficient tokens being received in return.
- Completing the task by collecting exactly 750 RSTR tokens may present no problems; however, receiving only part of that total may create challenges in meeting its requirements.
- Purchase CRS Tokens
- This task requires purchasing CRS tokens using RSTR tokens acquired in previous tasks and converted to 15,000 CRS tokens by spending at least 750 RSTR tokens as the minimum spend amount to do this task.
Why complete all tasks?
Venom Network is relatively new but shows great promise of becoming a significant player in the blockchain industry, so all tasks completed serve to familiarise yourself with this network and increase awareness.
As this project is still relatively young, there is the possibility of airdrops being held at some point down the line, making completing the Testnet Campaign more than worth your while in terms of benefits.
What Is Wrapped Venom (WVenom)?
Wrapped Venom Token and Venom Token have the same value; therefore, why do we require Wrapped Venom?
Venom token, while native to the Venom blockchain, does not function as a smart contract and, therefore, cannot interact with other smart contracts on that chain.
Venom tokens do not support DeFi protocols because they don’t meet the TIP-3 standard imposed on tokens on the Venom blockchain, as required for compatibility. DeFi protocols need this token standard in order to work.
WVENOM provides an elegant solution to this issue by conforming to the TIP-3 standard and offering 1:1 conversion of Venom tokens into WVENOM for use in DeFi protocols.
DeFi platforms typically handle this conversion process automatically, and Venom and WVENOM balances can be monitored using either the Venom Wallet or Scanner.
For DeFi protocols to use Venom tokens, they must first be converted to WVENOM; typically this process can be automated.
Airdrop Review
As part of an airdrop review, several factors must be considered. First is whether the project intends to conduct an airdrop at all. Next comes how many tokens the project plans to allocate towards airdrop campaigns and their difficulty. Also important when reviewing airdrops is to assess the utility of tokens – participating should serve real use. Lastly, when reviewing airdrops, it is important to determine whether airdropped tokens have any lockup period restrictions.
